Our bags are handcrafted as limited editions, so it's possible that certain type or color will run out of stock. If this happens. we will switch to other leather or color with similar properties and color. Individual irregularities occur as a result and contribute to the character and appearance of our casual-stylish designs.
OUR SAVED LEATHER
We source remaining lots of leather that are rejected by very strict rules of well known international fashion houses. We save this leather and cut around the damage.
If we had to pay the normal price for this, our bags would be twice as expensive.
Fortunately that's not the case at the moment.
A win-win for the all of us !
OUR CIRCULAR STITCHING YARNS
Men zegt wel dat dingen die de moeite waard zijn nooit makkelijk zijn. Net als elk succesvol bedrijf zijn ook wij de nodige hobbels tegengekomen. Maar ook als het kon, zouden we daar niets aan veranderen! Waarom? Omdat we op deze reis ontzettend veel geleerd hebben en onze diensten in de echte wereld hebben kunnen testen. En onze klanten profiteren van die jarenlange ervaring.

1- The raw-material are obtained from recycled PET-bottles. 2- The PET-bottles are washed and chopped into flakes. 3- When the flakes are melted down, they turn into granules. 4- The granules are processed into recycled-raw-materials. 5- The recycled sewing threads transformed into our sustainable sewing threads
OUR RE-CYCLED LEATHER TAGS
The P&D tags are made from the parts of leather that we recycle. A very simple circular production in which we reduce our waste to almost zero.

OUR NATURAL COTTON LININGS
For the European market, we consciously choose European picked cotton for the inner-lining of our handcrafted leather bags. The cotton-workers are paid fairly according to Western-European standards.
What comes up close is finally better for the environment.
Where possible we keep the footprint as low as possible !
OUR RECYCLED ANTI-BACTERIAL HARDWARE
It's not commonly known that a metal exists that kills bacteria directly on contact without the need for disinfectants. On most hard surfaces viruses can live for four to five days. But when viruses and bacteria attach themselves to copper and its alloys, such as solid brass, they are eliminated with hours.
Solid copper-rich-brass is a high anti-microbial product.
Since 2017 we're presenting zipper-pullers made from recycled brushed brass hardware and naturally anti-bacterial !

Our ancestors used in the past metal-zippers from the Tar Factory. A Dutch factory-brand, located at the Bellamy Street, Amsterdam.
But times have changed. Step by step we have switched to the high-quality durable zippers from YKK Japan.

Through sourcing leather from remaining stocklots from world-wide well known brands, each bag is unique and also tells a special story.
Our handcrafted natural leather bags are made from the large pieces of leather but the P&D logos are made from the parts that remain.

OUR RECYCLABLE CANS
Our aluminium cans are an infinitely recyclable material and it takes up to 95 percent less energy to recycle than to produce primary aluminium.
Never throw aluminium in the trash.

OUR RE-USABLE MATERIALS
Our cardboard boxes are more than just a regular box. Our boxes are produced by our partners with FSC-materials ensuring the cardboard comes from recycled sources and th wood from well managed forests. Together we gave cardboard materials a second life.
